A wide variety of research opportunities are available to undergraduate math majors at UMNTC. Network with fellow math students in one (or more!) of the University’s STEM-oriented student groups. Solving challenging problems in a competitive environment is possible through math competitions. Check out internships, too! Opportunities for undergraduate employment include serving as Undergraduate Teaching Assistants or Learning Assistants, paper graders, or exam proctors (when classes are taught in person).

Campus Employment
Undergraduate students who are interested in working for the Undergraduate Office of the School of Mathematics as a UTA, ULA, paper grader, or proctor should send an email to ugrad@math.umn.edu. Staff will reply with the application and instructions for completing that form.
