One-on-One Career Advising
As an actuarial student, you can meet with your designated career advisor, Ms. Breanne Richins. Breanne is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and worked in the Life Insurance field for 10 years at Securian Financial  prior to joining MCFAM full time as a Senior Actuarial Program Specialist.   She is active in the local actuarial professional community, sits on exam writing and academic committees for the SOA and is an Actuarial Instructor in the Actuarial  program.  She is connected to our alumni and will work with you on all aspects of your career development. Whether you want to be an actuary or follow or a different  analytical career path Breanne is well equipped to work with you.  As an actuary with  real-world, practical experience within a large financial institution, she enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge as she helps you prepare for your own unique career path. To make an appointment with Breanne, email her at

Actuary Club Career Workshops / Activities
The club holds career workshops to help members develop their professional skills.Topics include resume and cover letter writing, effective networking techniques, and interview preparation.
