Mid-October: Trip to New York City - National Financial Mathematics Career Fair & alumni/current student dinner for 2nd year students
Early November – MinneAnalytics Fall Student Data Science Challenge
Mid-October Quantitative Finance and Statistics Graduate Student Career Event for all MFM, FQF, Statistics grad students and some undergrads
Late November Chicago Trek - Students visit 3 firms where our alumni work and attend an alumni/current student dinner- for 1st and 2nd year students.
Early January – MFM Winter Modeling Workshop : The Master of Financial Mathematics (MFM) and Fundamentals of Quantitative Finance (FQF) programs at the University of Minnesota's School of Mathematics host a 10-day workshop for MFM, FQF and PhD students every winter between fall and spring semesters
Early February - Introduction to Bloomberg Workshop
Feb-April – "How I Became a Quant" Panel - Student Competitions – IAQF Academic Paper Competition, Rotman International Trading Competition
