ME-Founded Startup Wins Top Minority-Led Company Prize at 2024 Minnesota Cup

ME alumni Andrew Alegria (PhD 2024), Amey Joshi (PhD 2023) and Daniel Surinach (MS 2021) won a $25,000 prize for their company, Objective Biotechnology, which they co-founded along with faculty member Suhasa Kodandaramaiah. The award was part of the 2024 MN Cup Special Prizes, recognizing the Top Minority-Led Company participating in that season's competition. 

Objective Biotechnology's mission is to develop high-impact technologies that enable comprehensive measurement and manipulation of biological systems at multiple scales, unlocking new capabilities for researchers.
