Transcranial Focused Ultrasound Therapeutic Interventions: Guidance, Monitoring, and Controlled Delivery

My presentation describes image-guided noninvasive surgery using focused ultrasound (IgFUS) with an emphasis on imaging and sensing technologies used for guidance, monitoring, and control of focused ultrasound delivery, including transcranial applications such as neuromodulation and cancer therapy. I will describe examples of robot-assisted IgFUS systems for precise delivery.
