Megan Schoenzeit (B.S. '25) recognized by APS and NSF awards programs

Megan Schoenzeit (B.S. Physics '25) was awarded both a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship in one of the most competitive application cycles in the fellowship's history and was one of three finalists for the American Physical Society (APS) LeRoy Apker Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in undergraduate research in 2025. 
 
As an undergraduate, Schoenzeit worked in Professor Dan Dahlberg's condensed matter physics lab, interned at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, completed an REU program in condensed matter at the University of Michigan, and was part of Professor Andrey Chubukov's theoretical condensed matter group. Alongside her scientific achievements, Megan was a leader in building community within the School of Physics and Astronomy.
