Project Lead The Way (PLTW) provides transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. It creates an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empower students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive. PLTW also provides teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to engage students in real-world learning.
University credit opportunity
Minnesota affiliate universities offer college credit for qualifying high school students who successfully complete select high school PLTW courses.
At the University of Minnesota, secondary school students successfully completing PLTW courses may apply for college credit for a cost of $100 per course. The student will receive three semester credits per course and a grade of S (Pass) will appear on an official University of Minnesota transcript. To view additional requirements, and see which PLTW courses are eligible for college credit, please review the college credit registration form with instructions (doc).
