Biography

A seasoned leader of medical device product development with VP and C-suite level experience. Successful inventor and entrepreneur and proven leader in medical device commercialization. Substantial experience in Business development, Mergers & Acquisitions, technology assessment, intellectual property protection and technology transfer in both the biotechnology and medical device fields. Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences. Thorough understanding of the Global Regulatory environment in which medical device develop takes place with experience in the US, Europe and China. Strong scientific credentials and internationally recognized expert in structural biologics (allografts/xenografts) and tissue engineered products. Author of 25+ peer-reviewed publications, 3 book chapters, 45+ abstracts and inventor on 8 issued US patents and a number of international patents and patent applications in the medical device field.
