TLI Remembers Doug Ernie

TLI is saddened to hear of the passing of Doug Ernie. As interim director of TLI in 2018 and again from 2022 to 2023, Doug provided steady leadership during a period of transition for TLI and, crucially, throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a message addressing those pandemic-era challenges, Doug wrote, “…the Technological Leadership Institute remains steadfast and committed to our mission of developing the next generation of technology leaders. Our programs and the skills they teach are needed and more relevant now than ever before.”

His sentiment remains true to this day.

On Doug’s behalf, his wife, children, and grandchildren invite you to a celebration of life on Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center. His burial will take place on June 13 at 11 a.m. at Prairie View Cemetery in Wimbledon, followed by a social gathering at noon at St. John’s United Methodist Church.
