TLI's Marcia Cole Talks Cybersecurity on KSTP-TV

Security Technologies faculty member Marcia Cole was featured on KSTP-TV on Tuesday night, talking about a cybersecurity breach (euphemistically called an "encryption event") within the Minneapolis Public School system. 

In recent years hackers have turned to seizing sensitive information from both private companies and public entities, sometimes locking users out and holding the data for ransom. If the victims don't pay up, the hackers simply sell what they have to the highest bidder. 

Cole teaches in TLI's Master's program in ST, which trains technology professionals to lead the defense of corporate infrastructure in a number of areas, including cybersecurity.
