Conference on Ultracold atoms, Localization, and Beyond

Institut Henri Poincare

October 5 - 6, 2021

Institut Henry Poincaré

Organizers: Alain Aspect, Thomas Bourdel, Vincent Josse, and Baptiste Lecoutre

Within the framework of the Simons collaboration on localization of waves, we organized a conference on the physics of disorder, transport, and thermalization in quantum systems with an unexclusive focus on ultracold atoms.

We discussed the localization phenomena with and without interaction. Tutorials on many-body localization and on the landscape theory of localization were presented through talks and a poster session.

Participants at all levels, including students, participated and presented posters or talks.
