Management of Technology (MOT) Fund

The Management of Technology (MOT) Fund provides fellowship support to students pursuing a MOT degree.

Lockwood Carlson Technology Leadership Fellowship

Lockwood Carlson Technology Leadership Fellowship supports first-year MOT students and honors the lasting legacy of Dr. Lockwood Carlson, who served from 2002 to 2014 as a TLI Senior Fellow and the James J. Renier Chair. He was a highly valued instructor in the MOT program and was a founding faculty member in the Security Technologies and the Medical Device Innovation programs.

Kirk Froggatt Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship Fund

Kirk Froggatt Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship Fund supports first-year MOT students and honors the lasting legacy of Dr. Lockwood Carlson, who served from 2002 to 2014 as a TLI Senior Fellow and the James J. Renier Chair. He was a highly valued instructor in the MOT program and was a founding faculty member in the Security Technologies and the Medical Device Innovation programs.

Yechiel “Jack” Shulman Fellowship

Yechiel “Jack” Shulman Fellowship is merit-based and awarded to MOT students demonstrating high potential for fast-tracked technological leadership positions. Dr. Shulman was the founding director of TLI, holder of the H.W. Sweatt Chair in Technological Leadership from 1989 to 2000, and served as the first TLI Director of Graduate Students for the MOT program.

TLI/Honeywell Fellowship Fund

TLI/Honeywell Fellowship Fund provides vital support for graduate students in TLI’s course offerings and scholarship for undergraduate-sponsored programs.

Rias Van Wyk Fellowship

Rias Van Wyk Fellowship supports MOT students entering their second year who are focusing on technology foresight and forecasting. It honors the legacy of Dr. Rias Van Wyk who was the W.R. Sweatt Visiting Chair in Technological Leadership (1992-2003) and the former Director of Graduate Studies for the MOT program.
