Student Earns the 2023 Mahendra Bakshi - Sant Ram Arora Memorial Scholarship

We are proud to announce that Paige Hermann has been selected as the 2023 recipient of the Mahendra Bakshi - Sant Ram Arora Memorial Scholarship.

The award provides $2,500 to one student with promising ability and a demonstrated financial need, allowing them to pursue their academic and career goals.

Paige shared her reaction upon hearing she had been chosen as a Mahendra Bakshi - Sant Ram Arora Memorial Scholarship recipient.

“I am truly honored that the ISyE Undergraduate Education Committee chose me to be this year's Mahendra Bakshi - Sant Ram Arora Memorial Scholarship recipient. This scholarship so generously supports my undergraduate education, which I value incredibly much. My experience here at the University of Minnesota has been amazing, and I am grateful to be able to receive financial support to further both my experiences and education here. I have grown passionate about industrial and systems engineering over my first 2 short but impactful years of studies, and I cannot wait to continue them in the fall with the help of this scholarship.
