Membership benefits and engagement opportunities
The Dean's Club is an annual leadership giving society honoring donors who contribute $1,000 or more to any College of Science and Engineering fund between July 1 and June 30. Members play a vital role in advancing our mission—providing the flexible resources needed to recruit outstanding faculty, modernize lab spaces and support exceptional students. Through their annual investment, Dean's Club members ensure CSE remains a hub of world-changing innovation and discovery.
Philanthropic gifts of $1,000 or more provide crucial financial stability, enabling undergraduate and graduate students at the College of Science and Engineering to engage fully in their studies and hands-on learning.
Donor support helped launch CSEWell — a robust mental health program that offers 1:1 consultations, peer support groups and the Care Corner, a take-what-you-need pantry that provides personal care items, food and school supplies.
The donor-supported renovation of Fraser Hall opened in fall 2025 as the new home for the Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching Laboratories, where students all across the University of Minnesota learn chemistry.

In appreciation of your generosity, you will receive a donor recognition gift alongside our yearly Donor Impact Report, which highlights the tangible difference your giving makes across campus. Beyond philanthropic impact, there are other meaningful ways for members to stay involved with CSE—whether by sharing your industry expertise with ambitious students through the CSE Mentor Program or helping guide the future of the college by serving on the CSE Alumni Board.
