Finance and Operations Office
The CSE Finance and Operations Office is responsible for financial and operations planning and management for the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering. The Financial Cluster is a component of the Finance and Operations Office that is responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and certain procurement functions. The Payroll and Purchasing Team enters payroll appointments, enters position requests and updates, serves as backup for departments, prepares EFS documents for select units, and serves as the purchasing coordinator for some departments. The CSE Shared Services Team provides auxiliary, interim, and/or specialized support to academic departments and research centers within CSE.
The Finance and Operations Office is also responsible for college-wide financial oversight, compliance, budgeting, and facilities/space management.
