CSE Career Services will offer the following in-person drop-in hours in Lind Hall 105. Drop-ins can be used for resumes, cover letters, Handshake and career fair preparation:
- Tuesday, Jan. 20-Friday, Jan. 30: 2-4 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 2: 9 a.m.-noon

Presenters from International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and Career Services will provide helpful tips and information on what to expect at a career fair, how to talk with employers, work authorization options, and strategies for successful interactions and follow-up. This session is designed with the needs of University of Minnesota (UMN) international students attending fall career fairs in mind, although anyone in the UMN community is welcome to attend.

Join CSE's Manager of Graduate Career and Industry Engagement for a workshop covering what you should know before applying for positions, strategies for researching opportunities and employers, how to assess whether a position is the best fit for your skills and interests, and timelines for applying and tracking applications.

Don’t use an actual interview to practice your interview skills! Practice your interview skills via Zoom with a REAL employer before the big interview. Virtual interviews are 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes of feedback. Sign up early as spots are limited.

Register in Handshake and follow the instructions to sign-up for a time slot.
