D&I Alliance: Faculty, Staff, and Postdoc Focus Action Team

The faculty, staff, and postdoc action team works to support DEI programs and initiatives for non-student members of the CSE community.

Recent accomplishments include:

  • Championed the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship Program which now includes a CSE cohort of six individuals
  • Introduced staff awards in spring 2022 for DEI engagement across the college. One postdoc and two staff recipients were announced at the DEI Leadership Showcase.

Goals for 2022-23:

  • Continue working on staff awards
  • Working with human resources on inclusion in hiring
