April is Celebrate Diversity Month

April is Celebrate Diversity Month, a time to recognize and honor the diversity of the world around us and to recognize and understand our differences, whether gender, race, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, or other, while honoring the common essence of humanity.   

Established in 2004, Celebrate Diversity Month is an opportunity to respect, appreciate, and understand others' uniqueness.

There are a number of ways to observe Celebrate Diversity Month, including being considerate to others, listening to people from cultures other than our own, and learning more about different cultures and lifestyles.
