Homecoming Parade featuring Grand Marshal Michele Brekke (Aero '75, M.S. '77)

The parade runs down University Avenue SE from 12th Avenue SE to Walnut Street. This year's Grand Marshal is CSE alumna Michele Brekke (Aero '75, M.S. '77). Brekke retired from the NASA Johnson Space Center in 2014 after 37 years of service in spaceflight mission operations. Her NASA career started as an instructor to the Space Shuttle astronauts and advanced to leadership roles in the Space Shuttle and Space Station Programs. Read more about Michele Brekke.
