About the Event
A free 56 Brewing tasting glass to take home is included with the purchase of an $8 pint of beer. A brewery tour is included free of charge.
About the Brewery
56 Brewing is a microbrewery and tap room in Northeast Minneapolis founded by two College of Science and Engineering alumni, Kale Johnson, ME '96 (President) and Joe Wirth, ECE '93 (CTO). All of the 56 Brewing leadership team are University of Minnesota alumni. 56 Brewing has a core lineup of bold and session craft beers and a focus on locally sourced ingredients, using seasonal variations and infusions for pilot beer creations like Honey Kolsch, Dark Chocolate Coconut Stout, and Rye Lager and Pale Ale style beers.
