WISE Event: Discussion Over Coffee

Join Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (oSTEM), the Science and Engineering Student Board (SESB), and the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Initiative for a series of workshops on microaggressions and allyship. These workshops will provide insight on microaggressions and being an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as opportunities to discuss specific scenarios and how to react to them. The goal is to create and maintain a respectful and professional climate in which all can feel welcome. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the workshops and join in that mission.

This session Discussion Over Coffee will help provide everyday examples of microaggressions and ways to handle them in the workplace.
