PLTW 2018 Costs for Core Summer Training
Mandatory Costs
One-week sessions (DM and AR)
- Tuition per course: $1,200
- Meals: $320 total; $64*/day per person Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included for all participants. * Per Diem rates for Minneapolis/St. Paul are $64/day per the U.S. General Services Administration
- Parking: $60 total; $10/day
- Wifi: $5 per participant per course
Total Estimated Cost per Participant (Without Housing): Tuition ($1,200) + Meals ($320) + Parking ($60) + Wifi ($5) = $1,585 (without housing)

Two-week sessions: (IED, POE and CSP)
- Tuition per course: $2,200
- Meals: $640 total; $64*/day per person Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included for all participants.
* Per Diem rates for Minneapolis/St. Paul are $64/day per the U.S. General Services Administration - Parking: $130 total; $10/day
- Wifi: $5 per participant per course
Total Cost per Participant: Tuition ($2,200) + Meals ($640) + Parking ($130)+ Wifi ($5)= $2,975 total (without housing)

Optional Costs:
Housing: For the University of Minnesota session, space has been reserved on the Minneapolis Campus in Yudof Residence Hall. The deadline for housing reservations is 4:30 p.m. CST on Friday, May 25, 2018. A fee will be assessed for all cancellations made after the Friday, May 25, 2018 deadline.
Housing Costs:
- One-week sessions (DM and AR): $250 total (five nights); $50/night per person
- Two-week sessions (IED, POE and CSP): $600 total (12 nights); $50/night per person
