Actuary Club 

Joining the Actuary Club at the University of Minnesota is a "must do" for anyone interested in becoming an actuary or working in related analytics careers.  The club meets regularly during the academic year.  It is highly regarded by the large actuarial industry hub in the Twin Cities as well as by companies from all over the Midwest who recruit its student members. The membership base is primarily comprised of actuarial students and recent graduates; however, they welcome people of any major, college, or university in the area. Learn more about becoming a member of Actuary Club or getting on its mailing list

Company Information Sessions and Annual Internship/Career Fair
Actuary Club hosts meetings and information sessions throughout the year with a variety of companies, actuarial and insurance leaders to provide learning and networking opportunities for their members. 

The club also sponsors a successful and very well attended Internship and Career Fair every fall.  At this event actuarial students from across the state gather to meet and network with companies and their representatives. 

Site Visits and Career Workshops
Actuary Club organizes a variety of half day site visits with companies such as Allianz Life Insurance of North America, Securian and Aon.

The club is also a major career development resource and holds career workshops to help members develop their professional skills. Topics include resume and cover letter writing, effective networking techniques, and interview preparation. Learn more about upcoming Actuary Club Events

Mentor and Exam Reimbursement Programs
Actuary Club at the University of Minnesota is innovative and continually adding new initiatives to their growing set of resources and activities for students. Actuary Club's upperclassmen and upperclasswomen are now available to mentor students who are newer in the major.  The club also offers exam reimbursement to students who qualify.
