Van Vleck Lecture: How did we come to be? That’s a physics question!
Particle physicists in the US have come up with an exciting plan that is meant to address the question “How did we come to be?” I will discuss essential parts of this question: dark matter as our mom, Higgs boson and neutrinos as our superheroes, and cosmological inflation as our dad.
