MCFAM Virtual Panel on Quantitative Finance: "How I Became a Quant"

Registration Required

Are you a STEM, Economics or Finance student considering graduate school? Do you like modeling, math, statistics, economics, data science and/or engineering?

Join us to hear from alumni of the University of Minnesota's Master of Financial Mathematics (MFM) and Fundamentals of Quantitative Finance (FQF) Post Baccalaureate Certificate! Our panelists will talk about their wide-ranging career paths, challenges in their fields, and the far-reaching impact quants have on the worldwide economic system. Topics our panelists deal with in their daily work include machine learning and artificial intelligence in banking, visualizing the pandemic from a quant's point of view, understanding how the changing regulatory landscape impacts a hedging book, and the future of technology in trading.
