Curiosity Drives Progress Lecture Series: Sustainability and the Environment

Free • Registration Required • Open to the Public

What does sediment show us about the long-term impact of household chemicals? How can we use biomass to produce sustainable versions of materials integral to our everyday lives? How is the U of M collaborating with Tribes to protect wild rice - our beloved state grain? For answers to these questions and more, join the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) for the Curiosity Drives Progress Lecture Series. The series showcases the College's top faculty in TED-style 12-15 minute talks around key research areas. Our fourth lecture will spotlight CSE faculty members Bill Arnold, Paul Dauenhauer, and Crystal Ng presenting on their research related to sustainability and the environment.

Seating is first-come, first-served the day of the event. Please be prepared to present a paper or electronic copy of your ticket at the door. Additional on-site registrations will be accepted, as space permits. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact Andrea Hanson at alhanson@umn.edu or 612-624-6694.
