Professor Lee is an award-winning American historian and author of the recently published America for Americans: A History of Xenophobia in the United States, which is a finalist for the 2020 Minnesota Book Awards. She is also a Regents Professor, Distinguished McKnight University Professor, and the Rudolph J. Vecoli Chair in Immigration History at the University of Minnesota.
