International internships, research, and service
Students in the College of Science and Engineering often volunteer for service organizations or land international internships. These opportunities don’t provide academic credits, but they can change your life and the lives of others.
International internships
CSE students may pursue competitive international research appointments to expand their skills, gain global perspectives and build a broad professional network. These appointments usually take place in the summer. DAAD RISE Germanymatches students with competitive summer research opportunities at universities or institutes in chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering or related fields. Knowledge of German is not required. Students may also reach out to a CSE department or faculty member to explore other research opportunities abroad.
