New quantum algorithms research from the Head-Marsden group

Led by graduate student Koray Aydoğan and postdoctoral fellow Dr. Maryam Abbasi, the Head-Marsden group has recently published two papers on quantum algorithms with demonstrations on current quantum hardware:

• In an article recently published in Physical Review Research, they present two algorithms to consider the dynamics of Parity-Time symmetric quantum systems near exceptional points on current quantum computers with demonstrations on IBM's quantum devices
• In an article recently published in Digital Discovery they present a compact circuit derivation to consider relaxation dynamics generated by the Redfield master equation with demonstrations on IonQ's Aria-1 quantum device
