REU students join the CTC for summer research!

We have a cohort of REU students, through both MRSEC and NSF/Lando programs, joining CTC groups this summer! This group includes:

We hosted the 56th Midwest Theoretical Chemistry Conference this past weekend where we had over 100 researchers join us here on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus! There was a lot of UMN

2026 Research Computing Exhibition

Many graduate students from the CTC gave poster presentations at the 2026 Research Computing Exhibition! A few highlights include:

Prof. Bartel is leading the organization of the 35th Midwest Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics (MTSM) Conference on campus from June 14th to 16th, with more information found on the event website linked here.

Prof. Siepmann is leading the organization of the Midwest Undergraduate Computational Chemistry Consortium Summer Conference on campus on July 13th and 14th, with more information found on the event website linked here.
