The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) Career Services Employer Advisory Board is a collective group of industry professionals and recruitment leaders dedicated to shaping the future of the technical workforce and supporting the professional success of CSE students.

By bridging the gap between academic preparation and the evolving needs of the workforce, the Board ensures our graduates are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the modern marketplace.

Our Mission

To cultivate high-impact, strategic partnerships between the College of Science and Engineering and industry partners. Through collaborative biannual meetings, we exchange labor market intelligence, optimize recruitment strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance the professional development of College of Science and Engineering students and alumni.

Participation Requirements

To maintain a high-functioning and impactful board, we ask our members for a two-year commitment involving the following:

Member Responsibilities:

  • Trend Sharing: Provide up-to-date labor market data to help the college stay aligned with industry shifts.
  • Curriculum Feedback: Serve as a sounding board for new certifications, minors, and degree pathways.
  • Strategic Advising: Participate in "flash consulting" to provide real-world perspectives on recruitment trends.
  • Student Mentorship: Participate in professional development activities such as resume reviews or mock interviews.
