A common outcome of immersive learning “dojo challenges” is increased capability and resilience in a team. Challenges help teams onboard new members quickly, work collectively to solve complex problems, and fully own what they build. In this talk, I’ll share our playbook for working with teams, from high-level guiding principles and strategies to practical, repeatable, and actionable tools for building stronger product and engineering teams.

David Laribee is a coach, developer, teacher, international speaker, and co-founder of Nerd/Noir and Dojo Academy. David also serves as the Head of Dojos and Strategic Advisor for Cprime, which has the longest-running and largest dojo practice in the industry. Over the last 20 years, he’s helped develop digital product development teams and organizations in a wide variety of industries, including banking, retail, technology, insurance, defense, and higher education.
