Biography
Jaume is a PhD candidate in Harmonic analysis at UCLA, under the supervision of Terence Tao, working in Fourier Analysis and its applications to other branches of mathematics. He was a "la Caixa" fellow during 2018-2020, and an ESOP fellow during his Master's at ETHZ in 2017-2018. In his master's he worked in problems relating probability and complex analysis, in the Liouville quantum gravity model. Jaume is originally from Barcelona, where he studied Physics and Mathematics at the Universitat Autònoma.
After his graduation in Spring 2023, Jaume will work at Microsoft Research for three months, and then will start a postdoctoral position with Svitlana Mayboroda at ETHZ.
Jaume enjoys thinking about problems that combine mathematics with other areas, such as physics and theoretical computer science.
