The Center for Medical Device Cybersecurity (CMDC) is excited to sponsor a medical device-centered offering of Adam Shostack’s popular Threat Modeling Intensive.

This offering is a 3-day, beta-version based on the two-day bootcamp, and was designed specifically for the CMDC.

Attendees will:
  • Learn how to apply threat modeling using the Four Question Framework, with concepts delivered using a mix of hands-on exercises, discussions, and lectures (available in video before and after the course).
  • The focus will be on fundamental skills development
  • This CMDC offering adds additional hours for table-top exercises to help attendees become even more comfortable leveraging threat modeling to address specific problems in their own work—including ways to communicate back to management how this model could be used as part of a larger cybersecurity strategy.
  • Upon completion, attendees receive a certificate granting 2.4 continuing education units (CEUs).
