CSE Alumni Society
Be an active member of the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) Alumni Society!
The CSE Alumni Society provides alumni with an important link to the college, its faculty, students, other alumni, and to the University of Minnesota Alumni Association and University of Minnesota at large. The society is one of the largest at the University of Minnesota. In 2018, it was named “Alumni Society of the Year” by the University of Minnesota in recognition of the impact and reach of its alumni programs.
When you graduate from CSE, you automatically become a member of the CSE Alumni Society.
The society represents more than 75,000 living CSE alumni and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. It conducts a number of activities throughout the year, including an award-winning mentor program, social and educational events for students and alumni, events showcasing alumni-owned businesses and honoring outstanding alumni, and more!
Our activities
The CSE Alumni Society helps to organize programs that:
- Engage alumni with the college and one another through social and educational opportunities
- Strengthen industry partnerships
- Mentor students
- Honor faculty, alumni, and researchers
- Support K-12 outreach
- Advocate for the college and University

CSE Alumni Society Board—we want you!
