<run>:\the\world Machine Learning Virtual Summer Camp

Have you ever wondered:
How does Netflix know what movies you like?
How does your phone know what to suggest in your next text?
How do professional sports teams draft players with statistics?

Join us at camp to learn about the answers to questions like these and more!

  • Use the Python programming language to analyze financial and social network data that can be found around us on a daily basis
  • Apply machine learning algorithms to projects of your choice

This is a unique opportunity to connect with other high school students who share the same interests, and learn cool programming and math techniques that make a difference in the world.

Monday, July 11, 2022, 9 a.m.
Location

Classes will take place at the University of  Minnesota – Minneapolis campus, East Bank. This area is served by the Green Line and Metro. Transit bus routes 2,3, and other express routes.

Duration:

This camp is one week long and runs for three weeks total.

Eligibility: 

  • You should be entering 11th or 12th grade. 
  • You have to be interested in exploring the area of machine learning!

Cost: Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors, we are able to offer the <run>:\the\world Machine Learning camp at a low fee of $75, charged upon confirmation of admission.  A fee waiver is available upon request.

  • Note: If you are attending two weeks of camp (either week 1 or week 2 and week 3) your full cost will be $150 if you are not planning to request a waiver.
