For School of Mathematics Graduate Students: The College of Science & Engineering has recently hired a Manager of Graduate Career & Industry Engagement. The goal of this new role will focus on enhancing career readiness and expanding opportunities for CSE graduate students by building targeted programming, deepening industry engagement, and partnering closely with faculty and employers. Join us to learn about existing career development resources offered via CSE Career Services as well as other tools and opportunities across campus. Additionally, this will be an opportunity for graduate students to provide feedback on career development needs to help inform future programming.
Bio-sketch
Erica Ratner is the new Manager of Graduate Career & Industry Engagement. Erica brings over 10 years of experience in student development, program management, and employer engagement, most recently serving as the Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining UMN, Erica was a Career Adviser at the University of Washington, where she facilitated career events, developed employer relationships, and managed mentorship programs. Erica holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University.
