Abstract
Entrepreneurship is a masterclass in applied problem-solving, where the problems are often ill-defined, the data is incomplete, and the constraints are constantly changing. This talk will distill the key lessons from my entrepreneurial journey, offering a perspective on how the skills honed in a technical discipline can be a powerful asset in the world of business.
About the Speaker
Jerry Chen is a serial entrepreneur with a background in deep technology. As the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PranaQ, a digital healthcare company, he leads the development of wearable medical devices and AI-based algorithms focused on sleep and breathing disorders. His career encompasses a diverse range of roles across multiple industries. He has experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate venture capital, and business development. His diverse entrepreneurial journey also includes key roles at two other startups in the semiconductor and augmented reality fields. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Princeton University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
