Emerita Professor Wins ASME Heat Transfer Memorial Award — ART Category

The Art category is awarded for significant contributions to the art and application of heat transfer engineering through design and development of heat transfer components and systems, and/or development and publication of heat transfer correlations for industrial applications, which have been implemented or are used in practice.

Professor Jane Davidson began her career at the U in 1993 where she focused on development of devices and processes that provide clean air and water, and renewable and sustainable energy via thermal storage and solar systems to produce fuel and to improve building energy efficiency. Davidson retired as a full professor in 2022.
