Biography
Andrea Merlo is a postdoctoral associate at the Université Paris-Saclay, working with Guy David. He received his PhD from Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa under the joint supervision of Giovanni Alberti and Roberto Monti with a thesis on the extension of Preiss's rectifiability Theorem to the Heisenber groups. His research interests include Geometric Measure Theory in Carnot groups, fine differentiability properties of Lipschitz maps and the study of local structure of normal currents.
