Biography
Shiwen Zhang received his PhD from the University of California Irvine in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Svetlana Jitomirskaya. Before moving to the University of Minnesota, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Michigan State University from 2016 to 2019.
He joins the Simons Collaboration on Localization of Waves and becomes a postdoctoral associate in the School of Mathematics at the Univeristy of Minnesota, under the supervision of Prof. Svitlana Mayboroda. His main research interests include Mathematical Physics, spectral theory and dynamical systems.
