Wei Wang received his PhD from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Xuejun Xu. After a two-year postdoctoral research supervised by Prof. Zhimin Zhang in Beijing Computational Science Research Center, he joins the Simons Collaboration on Localization of Waves and becomes a postdoctoral associate at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Prof. Douglas Arnold from 2019.
He focuses on the numerical solution of partial differential equations including the numerical analysis and scientific computing. His research interests mainly lie in the eigenvalue problems, domain decomposition methods, finite elements and other high accuracy methods.
