Dean Alleyne Elected to the NAE

ME faculty member and CSE Dean Andrew Alleyne has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering – the highest professional honor for an engineer. "Election to the NAE recognizes Dean Alleyne's impact as an educator, researcher, and leader," said ME Department Head Sue Mantell. "Many of our faculty members have collaborated with Dean Alleyne on research projects, and his graduate students have gone on to become faculty and industry leaders. Congratulations to Dean Alleyne."

NAE membership is given to those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education. Alleyne and the 2023 cohort will be formally inducted at the NAE Annual Meeting in October.
