First U.S. Plasma Summer School Held at UMN ME

Professor Peter Bruggeman, along with Professor Mark Kushner from the University of Michigan, held the first U.S. Low Temperature Plasma Summer School from June 13-17, 2022, at the University of Minnesota.

The Summer School provided an opportunity for graduate students and early career researchers to be immersed in the fundamentals and applications of low-temperature plasmas for one week and to learn from 21 leading researchers in their field through lectures, hands-on experiences, and informal networking events. The school was attended by 68 participants from all over the world, both graduate students and early career researchers from industry, universities, and national laboratories.
