ME Graduate Students Impress at 3MT Competition

Mechanical Engineering’s Three Minute Thesis Competition was a great success. Twelve graduate students competed against time and each other for prestige and prizes. The competition was held October 6th via Zoom with over 100 people in attendance. This event was hosted by the ME Advisory Council.

First and Second Place winners were determined by judges combined scores in four categories: comprehension, content, engagement and communication. A poll was conducted after completion of student presentations to determine the recipient of the People’s Choice award.

Winners in each of three categories receive prize money, as well as the opportunity to represent Mechanical Engineering at the College of Science and Engineering Three-Minute Thesis Competition on Thursday, October 29th.
