General Classroom Lecture Capture
Provides lecture recording from non-UNITE general purpose classrooms. (for departments/instructors)
What's Included
- Classroom technology consultation with the Office of Classroom Management (OCM)
- During scheduled lecture times:
- Recording of classroom audio and video
- On-call classroom technology support
- Publishing of live stream and recordings to enrolled students in Canvas
- Instructor or TAs can specify a recording delay for students
- Upon request, transfer of recordings to instructors at end of semester
- Zoom technology support, when necessary
- Charges may apply for non-CSE or weekend courses
What's Not Included
- Zoom in-meeting management (participants, chat)
- Exam proctors or proctor coordination
- Separate enrollment process/section for remote students
- Canvas site support via the UNITE Canvas Site Support Service
- Reservation of OCM rooms
- Non-OCM AV equipment
What You Need to Do
- Faculty: contact your department to schedule your class in a UNITE-enhanced classroom
- Fill out the UNITE Consultation form with your request before the following deadlines:
- August 1 for Fall
- December 1 for Spring
- April 1 for Summer
