Complete an Assignment

After clicking on an assignment link, fill in answers to problems in the provided answer box.

Enter mathematical symbols by clicking the keyboard button in the bottom left of your screen to access the math keyboard.

Click the blue button with an arrow to submit your answer. Depending on assignment settings, it may say Check Work, Submit Response, or just have an arrow.

If the instructor has enabled real-time feedback, you will see an indicator of whether you answered the problem correctly or not.

Otherwise you will see a cloud icon indicating that the answer has been submitted.

If your instructor has chosen to show one question at a time, click the Next button to continue.

When you have completed the assignment, click the Submit button. If you have not answered and clicked the check work button for  one or more problems, you will be presented with a confirmation message.

Review Your Results

Your results will appear after submitting the assignment. The page will show the results of your current attempt and the attempt that will be considered for grading. This will be either the attempt with the highest score or the most recent attempt.

You can view the results of other attempts by clicking on the Attempt History button and selecting the attempt you wish to view.

Take Another Attempt

If your instructor has enabled multiple attempts, you can retake the assignment by clicking the New Attempt button in the upper right of the results page, after the previous attempt has been submitted..

Depending on the assignment, when you click the New Attempt button, you will see a fresh assignment with different versions of the same problems, or a different selection of random problems related to the assignment's topic.
