Custom Solutions Development

Provides application development services for projects approved by the CSE IT Governance Committee.

What's Included

• Consulting and business analysis on new custom solutions.
• Development of a solution, which may include one or more enterprise or third party tools, that meets CSE and University version standards for language, operating system, security, software dependencies, etc.
• Project management through all phases of development.
• Development of documentation and other support materials.
• Development of a support and maintenance plan.
• Transition of the solution to CSE-IT’s Custom Solutions Maintenance service.
• Adhere to University Policy for Accessibility of Information Technology.
• Adhere to University Brand Policy: Trademarks, Logos, Colors, and Seal.
• Adhere to University Information Security Policy.
• Follow University guidelines for Domains and Branding.
• Follow other relevant guidelines and policies such as FERPA and HIPAA, where applicable.

What's Not Included

• Support for existing solutions is provided via our Custom Solutions Maintenance service.
• Funding for licenses of third party tools.
