ME PhD Student and Postdoc Win Poster Award at International Conference

A poster by ME PhD student Yingming Xu and postdoc Peng Zhou has been selected as one of the fifteen finalists (among top 2.5% papers) for the Outstanding Student Poster Presentation Award at the 37th International Conference on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS). Xu and Zhou presented their poster, “Sensitive Lead Detection through Integration of Electrochemical Deposition and Graphene Ion-Sensitive Field-Effect Transistor," at the 37th International Conference on MEMS. This prestigious conference was held in Austin, Texas, from January 21st to 25th, 2024. Xu and Zhou are co-supervised by Professors Tianhong Cui and Terrence Simon and work in the Technology Integration and Advanced Nano/Micro Systems Lab. Their MEMS-based sensors for environmental and biomedical applications underscores their commitment to cutting-edge advancements.
