ME PhD Student Receives Best Student Paper Award

ME PhD student Peng Zhou won the Best Student Paper Award at the International Conference on Manipulation, Automation, and Robotics at Small Scales. The conference was held in Toronto from July 25-29, 2022. Zhou is co-supervised by Professors Tianhong Cui and Terrence Simon and works in the Technology Integration and Advanced Nano/Micro Systems Lab, specializing in photocatalytic water purification and micro-electro mechanical systems-based microsensors for both environmental and biomedical applications.

"It is a great honor to receive the Best Student Paper Award at this conference," said Zhou. "This award serves as a recognition of my previous work, encouragement of my future work, and inspires me to continue on the road of scientific research."
